Deutsche Hacking Meisterschaft 2024
From July 10th to July 12th, we had the chance to participate in the first edition of the Deutsche Hacking Meisterschaft (DHM) in Bonn. This is the joint finals of the Cyber Security Rumble and the Cyber Security Challenge Germany.
We looted a stack of 0€ bills from an ATM, liberated some Cute Big Cats, and solved a total of 18 challenges, earning us 11th place overall and 5th place among university teams. We’re happy with that for our first on-site CTF.
Huge congratulations to our members and RWTH students who qualified as part of the CSCG: lordlol, who was part of u+202e, the team placing 3rd, as well as MrSmör, who was part of the winning team Cornflags.
We thank all the organizers and other participants for making us feel welcome in the community as a new team. Thanks to NFITS, RedRocket and NVISO for hosting this event. We had a great time and are looking forward to be back!
