Popping Shells and Stealing Flags at RWTH Aachen University

About Us

We are a group of RWTH students interested in IT-security, who came together in early 2024 to form a CTF team. Since then, we have been expanding our community and competed in various CTFs, mostly casually.

We are organized as part of the Fachschaft I/1 Maths/Physics/Computer Science and receive support from the Research Group IT-Security at RWTH Aachen University. Of course, anyone who is studying any other subject is just as welcome.

What is a CTF?

Capture-the-flag (CTF) competitions consist of a number of challenges in different categories, such as cryptography, reverse engineering, web security, binary exploitation, and more. Usually, the goal is to find and exploit vulnerabilities in software that is intentionally vulnerable. More on Wikipedia
